Description
Our client is a leader in the field of aerostructures and interconnection systems. They work closely with major aircraft manufacturers and airlines, supporting every stage from design through to production. They specialise in assembly work on aerostructures, including electrical cabinets and aircraft doors.
We are now looking for an experienced Technical Quality Engineer to join their expanding team in Plovdiv.
Job Profile for Technical Quality Engineer
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Use the company’s software for process tracking, documentation and follow-up
- Conduct job audits and monitoring of the processes to ensure reliability and conformity
- Maintain NADCAP (National Aerospace and Defence Contractors Accreditation Program) assembly accreditation
- Analyse and improve processes to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect and support the qualification team for official records in the database
- Update and maintain follow-up files for qualification
- Prepare audit reports, manage action plans, and follow up on improvements
- Coordinate and support internal and external process audits
- Define the approach to controlling manufacturing processes and tests
- Validate all technical and quality-related documentation within scope
- Report to the company’s Technical Quality Supervisor and collaborate with all departments
- Apply quality tools such as RCCA, 5 Whys, and 8D to resolve technical issues
Candidate Profile for Technical Quality Engineer
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial quality
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of quality, production management, and safety standards
- Familiarity with aeronautical standards and operator qualification processes
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies and root cause analysis
- Experienced in test inspector recognition procedures
- Analytical, organised, and methodical approach to work
- Proactive attitude, with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Customer-focused mindset and commitment to high-quality standards
