For our trusted partner, a leading international transport and logistics company, providing end-to-end solutions in road transportation, freight forwarding, and supply chain management, we are looking for a Sales Executive (Ocean Freight) to join their team in Sofia.
Job Profile for Sales Executive (Ocean Freight)
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Identify, approach and develop new business opportunities for ocean freight services
- Conduct cold calls to prospective clients to introduce the company’s services and generate new business leads
- Prepare, present and negotiate service proposals, freight quotations and pricing agreements with local and international customers
- Identify potential customers and arrange sales meetings to promote the company’s freight forwarding solutions
- Gather and analyse customer needs, market trends and business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong business relationships to generate new sales volumes and expand the customer portfolio
- Monitor market conditions, industry developments and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
Candidate Profile for Sales Executive (Ocean Freight)
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Relevant university degree
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and proactive attitude
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel) and CRM systems
- Strong sales, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to establish and maintain a professional network
- Analytical thinking and a solution-oriented approach Previous experience in service sales would be considered an advantage
- Motivation to develop a long-term career in service sales
