For our client, a global innovator and manufacturer of linear motion and actuation solutions used in assembly automation, medical applications, and mobile machinery, we are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their expanding team in Sofia.
Job Profile for Quality Engineer
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Core responsibilities:
- Manage and administrate the QMS IATF 16949; ISO 9001; ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Issue and handle documentation of compliance: Declaration of Conformity (CE)/Declaration of Incorporation/TFSR and REACH/ROHS/Conflict Material (CMRT)
- Prepare and coordinate internal and external audits
- Participate and represent the company in all kinds of audits
- Conduct internal audits according to the company’s audit plan
Customer Complaints and Repairs Management:
- Participate in and moderate root cause analysis and problem-solving meetings
- Track corrective and preventive actions
- Create and update work instructions for the manufacturing and training of personnel
- Participate as a representative of the quality department in meetings for the creation and update of quality planning documents (PFMEA, QCP, MSA, CpK Analysis, etc.)
- Support and consult the calibration know-how and methods
- Take part on behalf of the quality department in project, transfer and intracompany meetings
- Coordinate and support the team in the preparation and submission of PPAP/FAI
- Support and substitute the EHS team with induction and periodical training relevant to the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 activities
Candidate Profile for Quality Engineer
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- University degree in Engineering
- 2-5 years of work experience in Manufacturing, Quality, EHS or related fields
- Knowledge in quality and integrated system methodologies and standards
- Knowledge of FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), PPAP (Production part approval process), APQP (Advanced product quality planning), SPC (Statistical process control) and MSA (Measurement system analysis)
- Experience with root cause analysis
- Qualified internal auditor in the required standards
- Good MS Office, MS Outlook, PowerPoint skills
- Critical thinking with excellent communication skills
- Open-minded and easygoing personality
- Dedicated team player actively listening to coworkers, respecting their ideas and aiming to improve the product or process at hand
