Description
Our client is a leader in the field of aerostructures and interconnection systems. They work closely with major aircraft manufacturers and airlines, supporting every stage from design through to production. They specialise in assembly work on aerostructures, including electrical cabinets and aircraft doors.
We are now looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their expanding team in Plovdiv.
Job Profile for Production Supervisor
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Oversee and manage daily production activities, ensuring that targets are achieved and all quality and safety standards are maintained
- Identify and resolve production delays or quality issues, implementing effective corrective actions
- Lead, mentor, and develop the production team while promoting a positive and performance-driven work culture
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including productivity optimisation, 5S, and implementation of best manufacturing practices
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Planning departments to ensure smooth and efficient production operations
- Monitor shop floor discipline and ensure compliance with work instructions, safety protocols, and company policies
- Track production performance, analyse deviations, and report key performance indicators to management
- Motivate employees and maintain high engagement to achieve production goals
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to process and operational improvements
Candidate Profile for Production Supervisor
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Production Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a similar production leadership role
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to perform effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical thinking, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
- Disciplined, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
