Description
Our client is a leading global and fast-growing company specialising in the production of home and personal care products, hygiene disposables, and packaged snack foods.
Currently, they are looking for a Production Manager to join their Business Operations Excellence unit based in Shumen, responsible for their modern and automated factory for hygiene, disposable and tissue products.
Job Profile for Production Manager
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Organise and lead the preparation and implementation of new products into production to optimise their business value
- Competitive rewards and food vouchers
- Control and adjust production capacities according to requirements
- Lead, coordinate and supervise activities related to planning, securing and providing production with the necessary personnel, equipment and materials according to production needs and forecasts, to improve efficiency, working and safety conditions
- Monitor, control and analyse the cost components of production to optimise them
- Align with Maintenance Manager schedules for planned preventive activities for production equipment, as well as to react and control needed corrective maintenance activities in case of machine failures
- Organise or participate in negotiations with companies for emerging technical and technological changes and improvements
- Monitor technical and organisational innovations both in the market and with competitors
- Participate in initiation and justification of projects (organisational and technical) to the company’s development prospects, increasing efficiency in production, staff selection, and improving working and safety conditions, together with the technical team, quality, R&D or independently
- Ensure compliance with all internal company documents concerning the quality of production and the raw materials and compliance with all national standardisation requirements related to the production process
Candidate Profile for Production Manager
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Technical Education
- 5+ years of experience in relevant roles and proven experience in managing people
- Experience in managing multiple simultaneous improvement projects and project teams
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent knowledge of the nomenclature and technical characteristics of the production, the services offered, the organisation of the warehouse
- Knowledge of the construction and technological documentation
- Analytical personality
