Our client is a well-established international manufacturer and a recognised leader in construction technology and machinery. With a strong global presence and decades of engineering expertise, the company develops and produces high-performance equipment used in major infrastructure projects worldwide.
Currently expanding, they are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Plovdiv.
Job Profile for Mechanical Design Engineer
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Develop mechanical concepts, layouts, and technical documentation, including material selection, dimensioning, and assembly definition
- Perform engineering calculations and assess the technical and cost efficiency of solutions
- Coordinate design activities with internal departments, clients, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant technical and safety standards
- Support prototype development, production ramp-up, and engineering change management while ensuring quality and documentation accuracy
Candidate Profile for Mechanical Design Engineer
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of German is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical design within an industrial environment
- Experience with CAD software and strong technical documentation skills
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
