Our client is a global leader in secure and intelligent access systems, trusted across multiple sectors.
Currently, they are looking for a motivated Lean Expert to join their team in Sofia. In this role, you will lead and support continuous improvement projects across multiple production lines or plants.
Job Profile for Lean Expert
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Identify, analyse, and implement process improvements using Lean principles (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, etc.)
- Lead and support continuous improvement projects across multiple production lines or plants
- Work closely with production teams to eliminate waste, optimise workflows, and improve overall plant efficiency
- Conduct training, workshops, and coaching sessions to promote Lean culture throughout the organisation
- Develop and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to monitor operational efficiency
- Implement standardised work procedures and visual management systems
- Support the integration of Lean principles in new processes, equipment, and systems
- Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving sessions to address operational issues
- Benchmark and adopt best practices from the industry and other plants
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams
- Assist in planning and prioritising improvement initiatives based on business impact
- Lead or participate in audits to ensure compliance with Lean and operational excellence standards
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging employees to contribute ideas for efficiency and quality improvements
Candidate Profile for Lean Expert
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field
- Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence
- Strong knowledge of Lean tools and methodologies
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or related methodology is a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills
- Process-oriented mindset and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to lead change and influence teams
- Collaborative and adaptable to dynamic production environments
