Our client is a global innovator and manufacturer of high-quality machinery and engineering solutions, serving industries such as construction, aerospace, and transportation. 

Currently expanding, they are now looking to hire a Data Analyst to join their team in Plovdiv.

Job Profile for Data Analyst
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Manage and develop division-wide data management and modelling for all quality-related data, including the continuous enhancement of existing data structures
• Coordinate and harmonise division-wide requirements for the existing software and hardware infrastructure in close collaboration with IT and strategic stakeholders
• Implement analytical models, including data science and AI/ML approaches, using Python to automate and forecast quality-relevant key figures
• Create and administer dashboards and interactive reports in Power BI to ensure transparent presentation of quality KPIs
• Initiate projects to enhance existing data structures, improve data quality and integrate new quality-related data sources
• Lead project management activities for the introduction of new software solutions and applications, as well as the administration, maintenance and ongoing development of the existing IT landscape

Candidate Profile for Data Analyst

• Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken. Fluency in German is an advantage
• Degree in statistics, mathematics, data analytics, computer science or a related field, with economics or finance also considered
• Expert knowledge of database modelling, with a very strong command of SQL for complex queries, and solid programming skills in Python, including relevant data science libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
• Strong knowledge of common machine learning methods and their practical application in real-world projects
• Experience in managing large datasets, including data cleansing, processing and analytical evaluation using a range of methods
• Extensive experience in creating and administering dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI
• Strong analytical thinking, combined with a genuine motivation to explore data and develop innovative solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Cooperative and open working style, with the ability to collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary teams
