Our client is a leader in the production of packaging glass products in Bulgaria.
Currently, they are looking for an experienced Cold End Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in Sofia.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical, electronic, and automation systems to support safe and efficient production operations.
Job Profile for Cold End Maintenance Supervisor
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage, analyse, and resolve electrical and electronic issues in machines and equipment
- Lead the development, improvement, and implementation of automation, instrumentation, and control systems to enhance production efficiency and product quality
- Ensure the reliability and availability of control, measurement, and automation equipment
- Interpret and apply electrical and electronic schematics for troubleshooting and system maintenance
- Monitor and optimise the performance of automated systems and machinery
- Lead troubleshooting activities to minimise downtime caused by electrical and electronic faults
- Support the installation, commissioning, and upgrading of equipment and systems
- Define, manage, and control the department’s annual budget and maintenance costs
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities based on preventive maintenance schedules and production requirements
- Control repair and spare parts costs while driving cost and quality improvements
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support process optimisation and continuous improvement
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintain accurate maintenance documentation
- Train and develop team members in technical and safety competencies while maintaining an up-to-date skills matrix for all personnel
Candidate Profile for Cold End Maintenance Supervisor
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in electrical, electronic, or automation maintenance within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with PLCs and industrial control software is an advantage
- Valid Fifth Qualification Group certification for Safety and Health at Work in Electrical Installations
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management capabilities
- Proactive, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
