Our client is an established international manufacturer specialising in construction technology and machinery, with a strong global presence and extensive engineering expertise.
For their production site, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Plovdiv.
Job Profile for Manufacturing Engineer
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Develop, implement, analyse and optimise manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Research and Development teams to optimise processes
- Conduct manufacturing process analyses, work studies and time studies
- Create and maintain standard data tables and time standards to support production planning
- Develop and analyse productivity KPIs to monitor manufacturing performance
- Conduct Make-or-Buy analyses to support production decisions
- Identify and quantify cost-saving opportunities related to new and replacement investments
- Contribute to product development projects to ensure ease of assembly and efficient manufacturing
Candidate Profile for Manufacturing Engineer
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of German is considered an advantage
- Secondary technical education or a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metal Processing or a related field
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, technical operations and business principles
- Proficiency in MS Office and other business applications
- Knowledge of REFA and/or MTM methodologies is an advantage
- Experience with or interest in ERP and PLM systems, preferably Infor LN and Albatros Windchill
- Strong analytical skills, adaptability and ability to work with data
- Excellent communication, teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Structured, proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong sense of responsibility
