Description
Our client is a leading finance group managing a diverse portfolio of companies across different industries. As the organisation continues to grow, they are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team in Sofia and take ownership of the financial processes and performance of assigned business units. The role combines financial planning, reporting and analysis with close collaboration with business stakeholders, providing financial insights and supporting informed business decisions.
Job Profile for Finance Business Partner
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Coordinate and manage financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare and analyse budgets, business plans and forecasts for revenues, expenses and cash flows
- Manage financial processes and risks, including cost control, liquidity and financial commitments
- Monitor the financial performance of business units and identify deviations and potential risks
- Prepare regular financial reports and analyses for management and Group leadership
- Support the management and financial evaluation of new business projects and investments
- Participate in the financial review of contracts and transactions and assess related financial risks
- Ensure compliance with the company’s financial policies, procedures and authorisation levels
- Work closely with ERP/IT teams to ensure accurate financial data and effective use of financial systems
- Support business unit managers in making informed financial and strategic decisions
Candidate Profile for Finance Business Partner
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar finance role
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel. Expertise in Navision is a plus
- Good understanding of data management and data quality principles
- Previous experience in the FMCG sector. Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
- Experience with Business Objects is considered beneficial
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines
