Our client, a prominent subsidiary of a leading global technology group, is a high-tech manufacturing leader based in Plovdiv. Their main activity is the production of high-quality concrete transit mixers and specialised components. They meet the highest world industry standards by utilising a process-oriented approach and state-of-the-art machinery.
Currently expanding, they are looking for an experienced Software Developer C++ to join their team in Plovdiv.
Job Profile for Software Developer C++
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Develop, document, and implement application software and algorithms for safety-critical control systems in concrete machinery (truck-mounted and crawler pumps, mixers)
- Derive and refine software requirements from system, safety, and architectural specifications
- Apply the V-Model to ensure structured development, documentation, and quality compliance
- Design, execute, and document module, integration, and system tests, including development of test strategies, tools, and equipment
- Conduct software reviews and perform error analysis, defining and implementing corrective actions
- Define, document, and manage parameter sets, configurations, and software setup instructions for various use cases
- Commission and validate software on control systems, test environments, and real machine applications
- Contribute to system design and interface specifications for control systems
- Provide application support, user training, and technical consulting, including support during commissioning and validation
- Support series production (third-level support) and assist in administering the software toolchain
Candidate Profile for Software Developer C++
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and German or English, both written and spoken
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in embedded software development, particularly in complex control unit applications
- Experience with common software toolchains (e.g. Jira, SVN, GitHub, Doxygen) and bus systems such as CAN, CANopen, and J1939
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with InforLN and Paisy
- Strong programming skills in C and C++, with additional knowledge of PLC, PC, or embedded languages as an advantage
- Knowledge of Functional Safety standards (IEC 61508, EN ISO 13849) is a plus
- Affinity for development processes and agile methodologies
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a self-initiated and structured way of working
