Our client, a prominent subsidiary of a leading global technology group, is a high-tech manufacturing leader based in Plovdiv. Their main activity is the production of high-quality concrete transit mixers and specialised components. Utilising a process-oriented approach and state-of-the-art machinery, they meet the highest world industry standards. 

They are currently expanding, and are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their Industrialisation and Logistics team in Plovdiv. 

Job Profile for Project Manager (Short-term) 
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Take full operational responsibility for implementing the industrialisation and logistics concept
• Drive the project execution to meet deadlines, budgets, and sustainability targets
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including phases, dependencies, milestones, and risk tracking
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Production, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, IT, Procurement, and external partners
• Manage internal and international stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication
• Lead project meetings, decision-making, and issue escalation
• Oversee implementation across all production lines and support ramp-up to stable serial production
• Resolve on-site issues efficiently and ensure structured handover to operational teams
• Implement planned logistics processes, including internal logistics, warehousing, material supply, and system interfaces
• Ensure the availability and readiness of the required logistics infrastructure and equipment
• Safeguard uninterrupted material flow during production start-up
• Provide transparent reporting to senior management and project committees
• Monitor risks, corrective actions, and overall project performance
• Ensure strict compliance with approved budgets and project timelines

Candidate Profile for Project Manager (Short-term)

• Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken. Working proficiency in German is an advantage
• Solid expertise in project management methodologies, including traditional and hybrid approaches
• Strong understanding of production environments, logistics structures, and industrial processes
• Demonstrated intercultural competence and ability to operate in international environments
• Proven track record in managing industrialisation, production ramp-up, or facility setup projects
• Experience leading high-pressure production launches and complex operational transitions
• International project exposure, preferably within Eastern Europe
• Experience in crisis management and structured escalation handling
• Strong organisational and confident decision-making skills
• Hands-on, results-driven approach with regular on-site engagement
