Our client is a well-established international manufacturer and a recognised leader in construction technology and machinery. With a strong global presence and decades of engineering expertise, the company develops and produces high-performance equipment used in major infrastructure projects worldwide.
Currently expanding, and are looking for an experienced Industrial Engineer, Tooling and Equipment Design to join their team in Plovdiv.
Job Profile for Industrial Engineer, Tooling and Equipment Design
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Design and develop specialised production tooling, fixtures, transport solutions, and equipment to support manufacturing operations
- Prepare detailed technical specifications for external suppliers and actively monitor the manufacturing, delivery, and commissioning process
- Identify and implement new technologies to improve efficiency, optimise workflows, and reduce production costs
- Conduct technical and economic feasibility analyses of alternative manufacturing concepts and solutions
- Support new product introduction by ensuring compatibility between product design and manufacturing capabilities
- Evaluate manufacturability, select appropriate production technologies, and define required tooling and equipment
- Contribute to production layout planning, including updating factory layouts and equipment positioning
- Participate in cross-functional projects related to process optimisation and industrialisation initiatives
Candidate Profile for Industrial Engineer, Tooling and Equipment Design
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Strong CAD design skills, preferably Creo
- Very good understanding of manufacturing processes, materials science, and component manufacturability principles
- Experience in the design and development of production tooling, fixtures, or specialised equipment
- Experience with FEM analysis tools such as ANSYS is an advantage
- Experience in project coordination and collaboration with suppliers is considered a plus
- Ability to assess projects from both technical and economic perspectives
- Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
