On behalf of our established partner, a leading manufacturer in the glass packaging industry, we are currently looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join their operations team based in Plovdiv.
Job Profile for Purchasing Specialist
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Evaluate different suppliers based on quality, timeliness and price
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors
- Prepare and process purchase orders for materials, services and equipment
- Manage supplier relations and negotiate timelines, availability, and conditions
- Maintain the supplier database, purchase records and related documentation
- Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries
- Identify savings by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the purchasing process
Candidate Profile for Purchasing Specialist
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree is a must
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Solid understanding of supply chain management, logistics and inventory management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong critical thinking and negotiation abilities
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently
