We are now looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Broadcast Technician to join their expanding team in Sofia.
Job Profile for Multi-Skilled Broadcast Technician
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Monitor live video and audio feeds using TAG multiviewers to ensure seamless broadcast quality
- Operate vMix for live switching, overlays, and stream routing
- Troubleshoot audio/video signal issues and execute fallback solutions when needed
- Perform regular audio checks and compliance monitoring
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for startup, shutdown, and shift handovers
- Log incidents accurately and escalate technical issues as necessary
- Support pre-launch testing of broadcast setups
- Collaborate on workflow improvements and technical upgrades
Candidate Profile for Multi-Skilled Broadcast Technician
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- 1–2 years of experience in live broadcast, AV control rooms, or live streaming environments
- Hands-on knowledge of vMix, NDI, Dante, or similar platforms
- Ability to stay calm and reactive in a live production setting
- Strong understanding of signal flow and live media operations
- Experience with TAG Video Systems, FFmpeg, or virtual machine-based streaming tools is a plus
- Previous exposure to game shows, esports, or interactive live content preferred
- Comfortable working in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
