For our trusted partner, a leader in the production and trade of power transformers and on-load tap changers, we are seeking an experienced and ambitious Purchasing Team Leader. The company delivers innovative and high-performance solutions for the energy sector, focusing on quality, sustainability, and customised products tailored to clients’ specific needs.
Job Profile for Purchasing Team Leader
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Lead and mentor a team of 5 buyers, ensuring strong collaboration and efficiency
- Secure on-time supply of raw materials and items, meeting quality and quantity requirements
- Drive continuous cost optimisation while maintaining supplier performance
- Ensure compliance with company methodologies, purchasing processes, and standards
- Manage supplier prequalification, assessment, and ongoing development
- Resolve supplier quality issues and support long-term quality improvement
- Work effectively with the ERP system to manage procurement processes and reporting
Candidate Profile for Purchasing Team Leader
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 2+ years of leadership experience in purchasing or procurement, including team management
- Proven negotiation skills and the ability to apply multiple strategies
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems
- A proactive, responsible, and result-oriented mindset, with fairness and integrity in team and supplier interactions
