Description

For our client, a global innovator and manufacturer of linear motion and actuation solutions used in assembly automation, medical applications, and mobile machinery, we are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join their expanding team in Sofia. 

Job Profile for Accounting Specialist
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Execute month-end closing activities, including preparing accruals, depreciation calculations, IFRS adjustments, and salary journals
  • Manage intercompany transactions, including monthly reconciliations (ICMR) in S4/HANA and coordination with counterparts
  • Develop and maintain cashflow reporting and bank balance reports in S4/HANA
  • Process and approve AP invoices and expense claims
  • Perform Profit and Loss reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
  • Prepare Monthly Management Reporting (MMR) presentations in front of the management
  • Assist with budget preparation and Long-Term Planning (LTP/ShortTermP/MidTermP)
  • Update transfer pricing adjustments and maintain a TP matrix 
  • Upload salary payments and approval of supplier payment runs

Candidate Profile for Accounting Specialist

  • Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Experience with M3 (Movex), SAP S4/HANA or comparable ERP systems
  • Experience with GA or controlling roles is an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel 
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
