Electrical Engineer – Bulgarian & English

For our client, a global innovator and manufacturer of linear motion and actuation solutions used in assembly automation, medical applications, and mobile machinery, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team in Sofia. 

Job Profile for Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Determine how to create a process that best tests a particular product in manufacturing and related disciplines to ensure that the product meets applicable specifications
• Carry out quality control and testing of finished electro-mechanical products and components included in these products
• Determine the best way to perform the test of the product or article in order to achieve adequate test coverage
• Work closely with Production, Product Development and Systems Engineers on specifics
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure that the product is designed appropriately and so can be tested and then manufactured
• Work with technical documentation – electrical and mechanical diagrams and sketches
• Perform a variety of tests
• Conduct process control of production lines and channels
• Perform initial and ongoing evaluation of new and existing suppliers
• Create test procedures for individual processes and functional suitability of completed products, as well as lifetime tests and procedures

Candidate Profile for Electrical Engineer

• Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or similar relevant field
• Experience with leading technical communication and previous participation in workshops
• Experience in the production environment is highly recommended
• Experience in PLC programming is an advantage
• Experience in ERP/PLM systems is a plus
• Experience in statistical analysis is preferable
• Comfortable in technical assembly tasks and skilled in working with electrical measuring equipment and mechanical measuring tools
• Self-driven and goal-oriented person, situational team player
