Senior Security Engineer – Bulgarian & English

Our client is a global sports betting, gaming and entertainment provider. Their products are industry-leading and played by millions of registered customers across the globe. 

And now they are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join the Platform Security Architecture team in Bulgaria. 

Please note: This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in modern offices. 

Job Profile for Senior Security Engineer
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Work with Senior Security Architects
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure the cloud infrastructure is secure by design and implemented to standard methodologies
• Focus on specific areas, gain in-depth knowledge and provide security expertise
• Work closely with the Cloud Centre of Excellence, Solution Architects, and Engineering teams
• Provide authoritative security guidance
• Help teams identify and effectively treat risks within the environment
• Work with other members of the wider Security Engineering team to ensure consistent and measured approach to security

Candidate Profile for Senior Security Engineer

• Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Security Engineer
• Extensive experience performing security analysis of on-prem and cloud architectures including threat assessments of identified weaknesses is required
• Must possess experience in assessing SaaS (Software as a Service), and PaaS (Platform as a Service) solutions
• Must be experienced in securing deployments using a threat-based approach, implementation of defence in depth and prioritisation of security controls
• Must possess practical working experience and knowledge of workplace technology security solutions e.g., network, email, and endpoint security controls
• Working exposure to cloud security services and controls including identity and access management
