Process and Product Engineer – Bulgarian & English

For our client, a global innovator and manufacturer of linear motion and actuation solutions used in assembly automation, medical applications, and mobile machinery, we are looking for an experienced Process and Product Engineer to join their expanding team in Sofia. 

Job Profile for Process and Product Engineer
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Optimise the manufacturing processes to achieve the best efficiency and the required quality
• Implement the company’s manufacturing strategy
• Ensure the availability of machines, production equipment and installations including the design and construction of channel workplaces
• Hands-on project management and collaboration
• Provide continuous optimisation in the area of responsibility
• Ensure 5S and work safety
• Participate in problem-solving processes and work with teams to help establish root causes of non-conformities and subsequent corrective or preventative actions, resulting in the minimisation of recurrence of problems
• Control the accuracy of meeting the requirements of production and labour discipline and the correct use of equipment
• Implement and adhere to the established Quality Management System (QMS) by means of communicating new developments and enforcing these to ensure the proper functioning and effectiveness within the system
• Provide frequent reports to the Manager
• Ensure Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and observe the company’s Code of Conduct in the area of responsibility

Candidate Profile for Process and Product Engineer

• Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
• Higher or secondary technical education in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics
• Training as an Engineer or Technician (Electronics, Mechanics or Mechatronics) is required
• Detailed knowledge in the application of quality techniques i.e., statistical fault analysis, problem-solving methods, etc.
• Knowledge in design and maintenance of process risk evaluation (FMEA)
• Basic knowledge of the ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 QMS Standards
• Experience in quality problem-solving techniques
• Experience in business administration, ERP, production and process optimisation
• Excellent practice in strength calculations and statistical tools
• Ability to work in a team
