Our client is one of the largest suppliers of industrial and plumbing goods in South-Eastern Europe. The company is certified by TÜV NORD CERT and is widely recognised for the quality and reliability of its products and services. 

They are currently expanding and are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join their team in Sofia. 

Job Profile for Purchasing Specialist
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Direct involvement in all purchase and logistics procedures necessary for the smooth operation of the department
• Conduct detailed market researches for product portfolios in cooperation with the technical sales department
• Evaluate existing and potential vendors, negotiate contract terms and pricing
• Process and control all stages of purchase orders, update data in an ERP system
• Communicate with transportation agencies
• Prepare and deliver all relevant reports to management regarding stock availability and stock forecasts
• Update continuously the supplier database with technical data, prices, and certificates

Candidate Profile for Purchasing Specialist

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Relevant experience and a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical) are considered a plus
• Proficiency in using various software packages and ERP systems
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Able to establish priorities, work independently, and achieve objectives
• Strong work ethic
