Description
Our client is a leader in the production of packaging glass products in Bulgaria.
Currently, they are looking for an experienced Supervisor Electrical Maintenance to join their team in Sofia.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing electrical maintenance activities and supporting the continuous operation of the production facility.
Job Profile for Supervisor Electrical Maintenance
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Lead and coordinate the electrical and electronics maintenance team within a 24/7 manufacturing environment
- Ensure the reliability, performance, and maintenance of electrical systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and automated equipment
- Drive troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtime and optimise production efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical standards, and maintenance best practices
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams on process improvements, equipment upgrades, and new installations
- Manage maintenance planning, spare parts inventory, documentation, departmental budgets, and cost-control activities
- Develop team capabilities through training, performance monitoring, and skills matrix management
Candidate Profile for Supervisor Electrical Maintenance
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial electrical/electronic maintenance, including team supervision, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, and high-voltage equipment is advantageous
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and work with instrumentation and control systems
- Good understanding of industrial safety standards and regulatory compliance
