Our client is a well-established international industrial manufacturing company operating in a highly demanding, high-volume production environment. As part of a global group, the organisation places strong emphasis on engineering excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across its production sites worldwide.
To support the ongoing expansion of their operations in Bulgaria, the company is currently looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team in Sofia.
Job Profile for Quality Engineer
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Monitor and report on quality performance indicators, including scrap, rework, and parts per million (PPM)
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements related to product and process special characteristics
- Participate in the development and continuous improvement of Process FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analyses) and Control Plans
- Ensure Control Plans and quality documentation are implemented, maintained and followed throughout production
- Develop and maintain product testing procedures, work instructions and production templates
- Support prototype sample approval activities and product validation processes
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to manufacturing processes and products
Candidate Profile for Quality Engineer
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian, both written and spoken. English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level (B2) is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within the automotive industry
- Experience working with Microsoft Office applications, ERP systems, and web-based B2B portals
- Automotive Core Tools certification is considered an advantage
- Strong communication, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving skills
