Our client is a leading, fast-growing global company specialising in the production of innovative solutions for safety and security systems.
As part of their continued growth, they are looking to hire a proactive and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join their production facility in the Sofia area.
Job Profile for Process Engineer
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Analyse, develop, and implement manufacturing processes aimed at increasing productivity and improving production efficiency
- Analyse existing technologies, evaluate their effectiveness, and develop and implement process improvements
- Identify and analyse the root causes of losses within the manufacturing process
- Identify the need for specialised production equipment
- Evaluate existing equipment to ensure readiness for new product introductions, and coordinate new model launches and engineering changes
- Develop work instructions and provide training to team leaders and production operators
- Maintain active communication with R&D, Testing, Quality, and Planning departments to ensure a continuous and uninterrupted production process
- Lead the preparation and implementation of new technologies and products according to predefined plans, and participate in prototype introduction activities
- Initiate improvement projects to reduce cycle times, defects, and manufacturing costs
- Lead problem-solving activities, identify root causes of non-conformities, and define preventive actions
Candidate Profile for Process Engineer
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Relevant technical education with practical knowledge of electronics
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry
- Strong ability to prioritise, organise, and manage tasks effectively
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
- Experience designing and developing fixtures, jigs, and tools for process optimisation is a strong advantage
- Experience analysing the root causes of losses within manufacturing processes is an advantage
- Experience working with SAP, particularly production, logistics, or material management modules, is an advantage
