Our client is an established international manufacturer specialising in construction technology and machinery, with a strong global presence and extensive engineering expertise.
We are looking for an Operational Procurement Specialist to join their manufacturing site in Plovdiv and support purchasing activities, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and the smooth running of production processes.
Job Profile for Operational Procurement Specialist
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Create purchase orders for materials through the ERP system in accordance with the production plan
- Coordinate and monitor deliveries, ensuring compliance with agreed delivery schedules, quantities, and prices
- Determine and arrange the appropriate mode of transport for deliveries from domestic and international suppliers
- Request and ensure the availability of the necessary commercial documents accompanying deliveries
- Contribute to inventory management and optimisation initiatives
- Prepare reports on purchase orders, inventory levels and related activities
- Identify and propose improvements to existing processes
Candidate Profile for Operational Procurement Specialist
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of German would be an advantage
- University degree
- Previous experience with an ERP system is an advantage
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
