Currently expanding, they are looking for an experienced Learning and Development Expert to join their team in Sofia, Bulgaria.
In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and monitoring of people development initiatives, while leading complex projects that support a culture of engagement, motivation, and excellence. You will act as a strategic partner to the business, ensuring that employees are effectively supported in achieving both individual and organisational objectives.
Job Profile for Learning and Development Expert
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Design, implement, and monitor competency development programs, including needs assessment, planning, execution, evaluation, and post-analysis with continuous improvement
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners for the development of training content, negotiation of contractual terms, and quality assurance
- Deliver training sessions and facilitate workshops and structured group discussions as required
- Support the implementation and localisation of national and international learning and development initiatives
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, standards, and established procedures in all development activities
Candidate Profile for Learning and Development Expert
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of German would be beneficial
- Completed university degree
- 2+ years of professional experience in learning and development or a related field
- Demonstrated understanding of employee development methodologies and current HR practices
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accountability
- Effective communication skills and the ability to operate in a structured, team-oriented environment
- Experience in project management, facilitation, and coaching methodologies is considered an advantage
