Our client is a leader in the production of packaging glass products in Bulgaria.
Currently, they are looking for an experienced Junior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Sofia.
Job Profile for Junior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Support process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation
- Assist in monitoring production performance indicators, including cycle time, yield, and downtime, and contribute to process optimisation
- Prepare, maintain, and update technical documentation related to production processes and equipment
- Support troubleshooting activities and participate in root cause analysis under the guidance of senior engineers
- Assist with the implementation of engineering projects and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production efficiency and equipment reliability
- Ensure compliance with company quality, health and safety, and operational procedures
Candidate Profile for Junior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and intermediate in English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor degree
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ready to travel
- Positive attitude and maturity, ability to adapt to different situations
- Flexibility and willingness to support new projects
- Ability to prioritise and work within tight time scales to meet deadlines
- Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team
