For the needs of our trusted partner, a leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation in Bulgaria, we are looking for an experienced HR Operations Specialist (Payroll, Time & Attendance) to join their team in the Plovdiv area.
Job Profile for HR Operations Specialist (Payroll, Time & Attendance)
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage Time and Attendance (T&A) data – working hours, shifts, overtime, absences
- Act as key user for T&A/HR systems – support, improvements, issue resolution
- Participate in the implementation of a new T&A system (testing, coordination with vendors and global teams)
- Support payroll processes with accurate and validated data
- Ensure compliance with Bulgarian labour legislation and internal policies
- Prepare HR and payroll-related reports
- Communicate with institutions such as the National Revenue Agency, the National Social Security Institute
- Support employees with HR-related queries
Candidate Profile for HR Operations Specialist (Payroll, Time & Attendance)
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting or Psychology
- 2-4 years of experience in HR Operations/Payroll/HR Administration/Project Coordination
- Experience with Time and Attendance systems is a must
- Experience in a manufacturing/production environment is an advantage
- Good knowledge of Bulgarian labour law
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
