For the needs of our trusted client, a leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation in Bulgaria, we are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team in Sofia. 

Job Profile for Field Service Engineer
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Perform start-up, commissioning, integration, and maintenance activities for company systems and equipment
• Conduct testing, analyse results, and prepare accurate technical reports
• Carry out preventive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical systems
• Conduct basic audits of customers’ electrical systems and equipment
• Escalate technical or quality issues identified in the field to the appropriate teams
• Maintain accurate documentation, including timesheets, change orders, and installed base records
• Support planners, coordinators, and project managers with site and project-related activities
• Utilise digital tools and service platforms required to perform daily tasks
• Recommend system improvements and identify opportunities to optimise customer operations
• Manage customer warranty claims in accordance with company guidelines
• Adhere to all safety and cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards
• Participate in team initiatives and contribute to the achievement of company objectives

Candidate Profile for Field Service Engineer

• Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
• University degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and diagnostics
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Experience with equipment installation, maintenance, and commissioning
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams
• Comfortable using digital tools, remote diagnostics, and data-driven systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Customer-focused mindset with professional communication skills
• Adaptable and able to work in dynamic environments and changing priorities
• Willingness to travel frequently
