For the needs of our trusted partner, a leader in the production of packaging glass products, we are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join their team in Sofia.
Job Profile for Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Ensure the continuous, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical and electronic systems within the 24/7 glass production facility
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the electrical and electronics maintenance team
- Ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, control panels, PLCs, sensors, and instrumentation
- Monitor and optimise the performance of automated systems and machinery
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for electrical and electronic faults to minimise downtime
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and electrical standards
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support process improvements
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance documentation
- Train and develop team members in technical skills and safety procedures
- Keep an updated skill matrix of all personnel
- Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and upgrades
- Define and control the annual budget of the department
- Plan maintenance actions according to the scheduled maintenance software and from daily production meetings
- Control and follow up on workshop repair costs, calculate daily budget objectives, and improve the cost and quality of spare parts
Candidate Profile for Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in industrial electrical/electronic maintenance, including supervision of technical teams, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, and experience with instrumentation and control systems
- Working knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, and high-voltage equipment is a strong advantage
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of industrial safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
