Description
For one of our clients, specialised in the production of fire security systems and solutions, we are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join their expanding team in Sofia.
Job Profile for Test Engineer
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Inspect printed circuit boards (PCBs) for compliance with ICT equipment requirements
- Develop, configure, and maintain ICT test programs for various products
- Define test strategies in collaboration with product and hardware engineers
- Perform electrical testing of PCBs using ICT equipment
- Analyse test results and identify defects
- Improve test coverage and optimise test cycle times
- Maintain and calibrate ICT test equipment and test fixtures (bed-of-nails)
- Participate in the development of new test fixtures
- Create and maintain technical documentation for test programs
- Support production during the introduction of new products (NPI phase)
- Contribute to root cause analysis of recurring defects and propose corrective actions
- Assist during internal and external audits
Candidate Profile for Test Engineer
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field
- Experience with or solid understanding of In-Circuit Test (ICT) principles
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel for data analysis
- Hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment
- Experience working with specialised ICT programming software
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and PCB documentation
- Basic programming or scripting skills are considered an advantage
