For our client, a global and fast-growing company, specialised in the production of home and personal care products, hygiene disposables, and packaged snack foods, we are looking for an R&D Print Packaging Specialist to join their expanding team in Sofia.
Job Profile for R&D Print Packaging Specialist
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Provide technical expertise in packaging design, printing technologies, and quality control
- Manage the process of receiving, testing, and approving new packaging materials
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design agencies, and suppliers on new artwork and print files
- Oversee pre-press activities – file checks, colour proofs, and first print approvals
- Research and develop alternative materials and cost-effective printing solutions
- Analyse competing packaging and stay updated on market trends
Candidate Profile for R&D Print Packaging Specialist
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Polygraphy, Industrial Design, or similar education is a strong advantage
- Excellent knowledge in MS Office and strong skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience in pre-press, printing technologies, packaging production, and colour measurement
- Willingness to travel in Bulgaria and abroad
- Valid driver’s license
- Detail-oriented, proactive, well-organised team player
