Automation Engineer – Bulgarian & English

Description

For our client, a global and fast-growing company specialising in the production of home and personal care products, hygiene disposables, and packaged snack foods we are looking for an Automation Engineer to join their expanding team in Shumen.

Job Profile for Automation Engineer
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Ensure availability of required spare parts and consumables in conjunction with plant mechanics, power engineer, QA and A and supply engineer
• Participate in the design and commissioning of new machinery and equipment or other technical solutions to increase efficiency alongside the Production Manager, Development Engineer and Chief Mechanical Engineer
• Read installation blueprints, wire diagrams and specifications
• Know and use daily the Technical Requirements for Products Act and its implementing regulations, as well as all regulations relating to hazardous equipment
• Review electronic and pneumatic schematics and drawings of machinery
• Supervise external companies related to project or repair activities
• Identify new opportunities for automation within the manufacturing process
• Monitor the automation processes on an ongoing basis

Candidate Profile for Automation Engineer

• Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Economics, Mechanics, Engineering or in a similar field
• 2+ years previous experience as an Engineer in Electronics and Automatics is required
• Knowledge of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) production
• Very good level of computer literacy and technical skills: Microsoft Office, CAD programs
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Preciseness and attention to detail
• Flexibility and adaptability
