Our client is a well-established international manufacturer and a recognised leader in construction technology and machinery. With a strong global presence and decades of engineering expertise, the company develops and produces high-performance equipment used in major infrastructure projects worldwide.
Currently expanding, they are looking for an experienced Finance and Controlling Analyst to join their team in Plovdiv.
Job Profile for Finance and Controlling Analyst
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Perform cost calculations and financial analyses to support operational decisions
- Prepare variance analyses and coordinate budget and cost centre planning with functional departments
- Develop, maintain, and improve reporting tools for transparent tracking of production costs
- Support management as a business partner in financial and economic matters, including risk and opportunity evaluation
- Collaborate with divisional controlling and coordinate with site departments
- Drive process improvements and optimise reporting frameworks
- Provide regular updates to the Finance and Controlling leadership
Candidate Profile for Finance and Controlling Analyst
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of German is a plus
- University degree in Finance, Controlling, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in production controlling, ideally in an international industrial company
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, INFOR, JDE, Navision) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a deep understanding of business processes
- Structured, independent, and results-oriented work style
- Proactive mindset focused on optimisation and sustainable improvements
- Excellent communication skills to present complex topics clearly and collaborate effectively
