Our client, a prominent subsidiary of a leading global technology group, is a high-tech manufacturing leader based in Plovdiv. Their main activity is the production of high-quality concrete transit mixers and specialised components. Utilising a process-oriented approach and state-of-the-art machinery, they meet the highest world industry standards.
They are currently expanding, and we are looking for an experienced Software Developer for Industrial Plant Automation (PLC) to join their team in Plovdiv.
Job Profile for Software Developer for Industrial Plant Automation (PLC)
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Develop and optimise control software for mixing plants using modular, reusable functional architectures
- Contribute to the design of automation concepts and continuous optimisation of technological processes within an Agile, customer-centric framework
- Draft specifications for interfaces and software functions in close coordination with mechanical, electrical, and application engineering teams
- Work within a collaborative network of international subsidiaries and participate in the field commissioning of prototypes and installations
Candidate Profile for Software Developer for Industrial Plant Automation (PLC)
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and German or English, both written and spoken
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Proficiency in PLC programming (IEC 61131), specifically CODESYS, and experience with Python for mechatronic systems
- Strong knowledge of software development methods, drive control/regulation, and object-oriented programming
- Creative team player
