Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking for a Financial Specialist to join our great back-office team in Varna. The back-office team takes care of all the Finance, HR, Operations and Facilities matters for all Blue Lynx offices. In the role, you will have the amazing opportunity to support with all internal back-office duties, but also deal with our prestigious clients and work on exciting projects.

Job Profile for Financial Specialist
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Carrying out all Finance activities in the Netherlands and supporting with activities in Bulgaria:

  • Carry out and assist with accounts receivables, accounts payables, bank reconciliation, and remittance statements; Keep the online accounting software updated
  • Carry out and assist with processing timesheets and expense claims
  • Salary administration and payroll assistance
  • Utilise Clients’ MSP (Managed Service Providers) systems for all matters related to contractors’ employment details, invoicing, and payments
  • Liaise with our external Accountants, both in The Netherlands and Bulgaria
  • Carry out and assist with all daily finance-related queries, including working on client’s rates, credit control, communicating with contractors, etc.
  • Email communication with employees, clients and suppliers
  • Assist with financial data collection and prepare financial reports 
  • Assist in the creation and/or maintenance of finance manuals, templates, and group mailings

Candidate Profile for Financial Specialist

  • Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 2-3 years of Accounting or Financial experience
  • Experience using accounting software
  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel skills
  • Experience with databases or online tools/platforms 
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and has a can-do attitude
  • Comfortable with working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively and efficiently
  • Able to work in a team and independently 
  • Able to communicate and comprehend information quickly, accurately, clearly and concisely
  • Experience working remotely or with remote teams is an advantage
  • Excellent telephone manners
  • A people person with strong social skills, adaptability, and empathy
  • Problem-solver and outside-the-box thinker
