For the needs of our trusted client, a well-established international company in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector, we are looking for an experienced professional to join their finance team in Sofia as an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Accountant. 

Job Profile for AP/AR Accountant
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Process invoices, receipts, payments, and bank statements accurately and on time
• Maintain vendor and customer accounts, ensuring timely reconciliations
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Handle communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues
• Contribute to process improvements, reporting, and compliance activities

Candidate Profile for AP/AR Accountant

• Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in AP or AR, preferably in an international environment
• Solid knowledge of accounting processes and systems (ERP and MS Excel)
• Experience in process improvements combined with effective communication skills
• Analytical thinking and a problem-solving mindset
