Our Client, a leading manufacturing company based in Sofia, is expanding its operations to meet growing production demands and is currently looking for a Procurement Manager to lead and further develop the procurement function within their growing international environment. This is a key role with significant impact on supplier management, process optimisation, and cost efficiency.
Job Profile for Procurement Manager
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Lead and oversee the procurement team, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive best practices in procurement
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies with both local and international suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations
- Identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and process improvements
- Support the business with timely and effective procurement solutions
Candidate Profile for Procurement Manager
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
- Experience as a Deputy Procurement Manager, Team Lead, or Senior Procurement Specialist with people management responsibilities
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage complex supplier relationships
- Solid understanding of procurement best practices and international supply management
- Experience working with international suppliers
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is a plus
- Experience in both international companies and smaller local organisations will be considered a plus
