Description
For our client, a global innovator and manufacturer of linear motion and actuation solutions used in assembly automation, medical applications, and mobile machinery, we are looking for an experienced Plant Controller to join their expanding team in Sofia.
Job Profile for Plant Controller
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Coordinate the preparation and accuracy of the monthly performance reports, monthly forecasts and various other ad-hoc reports requested by the HQ or the local management
- Coordinate the Budget process and draw up the main reports (PCR, OH Costs, FACTS LE planning tool, including the related monthly breakdown)
- Handle month-end closing controlling tasks (evaluation and calculation of WIP and inventories, cost assessment of projects, production orders, maintenance orders and other controlling objects)
- Responsible for all aspects of Plant Controlling, including presentation of the Plant Cost Report and associated schedules, standard product cost upload in the ERP system, etc.
- Check costing systems of the products produced, with specific emphasis on the accuracy
- Coordinate with the accounting team the cost centre’s structure and projects
- Provide financial advice and support at Management meetings in a Business Partnering role, with the support of the Finance Manager
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of the investment system, including the budget
- Communicate the problems and the main deviations vs budget to the Finance Manager
Candidate Profile for Plant Controller
- Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of the German language is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on Controlling
- Working experience in the Controlling function in an international group
- Experience with ERP systems, especially M3 (Movex)
- Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel as an advanced user
- Interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation and moderation
- Able to work under own initiative, to set and meet personal targets combined with the flexibility to adjust to workload priorities and take account of new deadlines
- Excellent in organising and prioritising workload and producing/processing documents accurately
- Able to handle difficult situations appropriately and confidently
- Good problem-solving techniques and analytical skills
- Flexible and forward-thinking approach, along with the ability to work as part of a team
- A dynamic personality with an eagerness to learn new things
- Outstanding intercultural awareness would be beneficial, as well as the experience of working in a multi-site environment
