We are now expanding and we are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join one of our offices in Sofia, Plovdiv or Varna.

Job Profile for Business Development Manager
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and client needs in the Netherlands and EU
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies
  • Maintain accurate CRM records to streamline operations
  • Proactively engage with potential clients via calls and follow-ups, prioritising phone interactions over emails
  • Qualify leads, assess client needs, and provide tailored recruitment solutions
  • Act as the primary contact for new and existing clients, ensuring top-tier service
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities
  • Conduct strategic cold calling to warm leads, always leveraging a relevant hook (campaigns, prior connections, etc.)
  • Spend 50%+ of work time on direct phone engagement with leads and prospects
  • Work with internal teams to enhance client-focused service offerings
  • Track competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities
  • Provide insights on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends

Candidate Profile for Business Development Manager

  • Must be fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken is essential
  • A minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management, preferably within the recruitment or service-based industry
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to establish and maintain professional relationships
  • Strong telephone communication abilities, with confidence in engaging clients effectively
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and proactive in driving business objectives
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in an international, multicultural work environment
