As the company expands its project management achievements, construction supervision, and consulting activities, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in Sofia.

Job Profile for Business Development Manager
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Coordinate, steer and guide local business development with local and international sales and proposal activities
• Develop local business plan in alliance with the global business one
• Support the operation in meeting project deadlines, cost and quality objectives
• Supervise bidding processes, define strategies to win new projects, look for partners and staff, manage the technical and financial bids
• Aim at achieving established results, productivity, team integration and satisfaction, synergy with other areas, and identifying talents
• Steer the development of both lead customers and major sales channels and establish sustainable relations accordingly
• Identify and qualify relevant business leads
• Develop opportunities in alignment and collaboration with the international lead and excellence teams and the local entities and representatives
• Monitor market trends, conduct research and continuously align the company’s market strategy based on strategic conclusions
• Develop new business, customers and partnerships in the fields of project supervision and project management
• Consult in engineering, infrastructural, civil and industrial construction industries
• Maintain and lead proposal management requirements within an international environment
• Define a winning strategy for the international proposal management team
• Manage project teams, train and qualify subordinates and meet the company’s objectives and strategies

Candidate Profile for Business Development Manager

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
• University degree in Engineering (preferably Civil)
• Knowledge of the Bulgarian legislation (Spatial Planning Act and related law)
• 5+ years of experience as an Operation Manager, in bid management, managing teams and holding the main responsibility for the project results
• Solid background in CAPEX projects, construction, engineering design, and studies in the infrastructure, energy, industry and petrochemical sectors
• Proven strong technical capabilities running complex and big projects in these sectors
• Good relationship with authorities, asset developers, asset owners and investors in Bulgaria for local business development
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to build long-term relationships
• Perfect negotiating and managing skills
• Independent with a proactive attitude and a focus on decision-making and results
