Network Engineer – Bulgarian & English

Our client is a trusted product provider in the IT field. Their goal is to deal with common marketing and IT challenges. They provide smart tools for marketers and a flexible platform for developers.

They are currently expanding and are now looking for a Network Engineer to join their team in Sofia.

Job Profile for Network Engineer
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Provide support and maintenance of the global network infrastructure including routing; WAN technologies; remote VPN; Data Center Switching; Wireless; Firewalls
• Monitor network utilisation and performance
• Troubleshoot and escalate network incidents 
• Document technical engineering procedures for use by other members of the IT Infrastructure team
• Contribute to roadmap, architectural direction, and continuous improvement
• Communicate proactively about opportunities, expectations, timelines, risks, and issues
• Perform knowledge transfer to other members of the Communication Services Team
• Assist in vendor negotiations and the RFP/RFI process

Candidate Profile for Network Engineer

• Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken
• University Degree in Computer Science or Information Technologies
• Experience as a Network Engineer
• Solid knowledge and strong understanding of Firewall concepts, IPS sensor concepts 
• Deep understanding of configuring and supporting IPsec VPN WAN technologies
• Experience with SIEM solutions for log management, event correlation, incident monitoring and response
• Working knowledge and experience with Load balancing technologies 
• Able to work well under pressure, multi-task, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
