Regardless of the location, our principles of offering the highest quality of service reinforce our reputation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">For the needs of our trusted client, a leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation in Bulgaria, we are looking for an experienced <strong>Chief Accountant\u00a0<\/strong>to join their team in Sofia or Plovdiv.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><strong>Job Profile for\u00a0Chief Accountant<\/strong><br \/><u>Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and coordinate the local accounting team and ensure efficient delivery of accounting activities<\/li>\n<li>Manage cooperation with international Accounting Competency Centres and address service or performance issues where required<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax and Group accounting requirements<\/li>\n<li>Oversee Group reporting, P&#038;L and Balance Sheet reviews, statutory accounts and external audit<\/li>\n<li>Manage tax compliance, including CIT, VAT and WHT, and support transfer pricing requirements<\/li>\n<li>Partner with the business to identify accounting and tax risks and provide practical solutions<\/li>\n<li>Support internal controls, finance transformation initiatives and local\/regulatory projects<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities for process optimisation and continuous improvement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><strong>Candidate Profile for\u00a0Chief Accountant<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken<\/li>\n<li>University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of Bulgarian accounting and tax regulations. SAP knowledge is a strong advantage<\/li>\n<li>Significant accounting and tax experience, ideally in a Chief Accountant or senior accounting position<\/li>\n<li>ERP experience is required.
