they are looking for a dedicated <strong>Regional Finance Manager, South East Europe,\u00a0<\/strong>to join their team in Sofia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0cm;text-align:justify;\">In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring oversight, governance, and quality assurance of local accounting, tax, and statutory processes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Profile for\u00a0Regional Finance Manager, South East Europe<\/strong><br \/><u>Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee and review the local monthly and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission to Group Consolidation<\/li>\n<li>Review statutory financial statements and supporting documentation prepared by the team or external providers<\/li>\n<li>Validate key accounting judgments, estimates, and reconciliations (e.g. fixed assets, provisions, inventories), ensuring compliance with local GAAP and alignment with Group principles<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that accounting treatments appropriately reflect business transactions and legal requirements<\/li>\n<li>Ensure full compliance with local tax obligations through review and approval of tax returns, calculations, and filings prepared by the team or external advisors<\/li>\n<li>Act as senior finance counterpart with tax authorities, overseeing responses to audits, inspections, and enquiries<\/li>\n<li>Review tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and tax-sensitive accounts, ensuring consistency and technical robustness<\/li>\n<li>Monitor tax law changes and assess implications, risks, and opportunities, escalating matters to local and Group management when relevant<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and lead at the governance level of local external, internal, and tax audits, ensuring readiness and quality of information provided<\/li>\n<li>Act as the main finance representative in interactions with local auditors, regulators, and authorities<\/li>\n<li>Oversee relationships with local banks, reviewing financing-related information and supporting discussions in coordination with Group Finance<\/li>\n<li>Review and challenge local management reports and KPIs, ensuring data quality, consistency, and comparability across entities<\/li>\n<li>Analyse critically financial and operational information to support informed decision-making by local and Group management<\/li>\n<li>Oversee budget, forecast, and variance analyses prepared by the team, ensuring alignment with Group guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Provide high-level financial insights and recommendations, rather than producing routine reports<\/li>\n<li>Support investment analysis and CAPEX projects, providing financial assessment and profitability analysis<\/li>\n<li>Ensure appropriate governance and control over fixed asset registers, depreciation policies, and asset movements<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for managing, motivating and developing the team, namely in terms of the elaboration of training and development plans<\/li>\n<li>Define clear roles, responsibilities, and review mechanisms within the team<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper implementation of Group finance policies, procedures, and internal controls at a local level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0cm;\"><strong>Candidate Profile for Regional Finance Manager, South East Europe<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be fluent in Bulgarian and English, both written and spoken<\/li>\n<li>Several years of experience in accounting, taxation, or audit, preferably in an industrial or multinational environment\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of local GAAP, tax legislation, and statutory reporting<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of IFRS interfaces with local accounting, internal controls and compliance requirements\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Experience with SAP FI\/CO or similar ERP systems<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience reviewing and supervising statutory closing and tax compliance processes\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience managing or overseeing finance teams or shared-service environments\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Strong review, analytical, and critical-thinking capabilities<\/li>\n<li>Ability to challenge assumptions and ensure robustness of financial information<\/li>\n<li>Clear and confident communicator with senior internal and external
